This week we continued with the Masterpiece theme for our class. We focused on 2 Corinthians 5:14-17, which states:
14 For the love of Christ controls us, because we have concluded this: that one has died for all, therefore all have died;
15 and he died for all, that those who live might no longer live for themselves but for him who for their sake died and was raised.
16 From now on, therefore, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we once regarded Christ according to the flesh, we regard him thus no longer.
17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
With these verse we learned how we have changed because we have accepted Jesus Christ in our hearts. We were able to see that our point of view regarding multiple things have changed. Our relationship with God has changed and who we live for is also different. This is because we were made new when we accepted Jesus Christ in our heart. Like His word says, we are a "new creation." Everything we've done in the past is forgotten. Our old ways, views, and actions are long gone. We are new!
Below are the materials we used in case you want/need to review anything from this week's class.
Reminder: Bring your notebook and Bibles (if you have in English) to next week's class.
Also leave a comment with something you learned this week. The first to do this might get something next week ;)
God Bless!
